Course Description
State approved Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) training program is designed to prepare you to take Medical Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy National Exams. Certified Clinical Medical Assistants provide critical support to medical facilities in a clinical or office environment.
Our CCMA program will teach all aspects related to this growing field. The CCMA will be trained to work alongside the doctor at a physician office or urgent care center. CCMA’s are trained to assist physicians with minor office surgeries, physical exams, prescription, injections, X-ray procedures, phlebotomy, front and back office procedures, and EKG. The course includes 30 classroom blood draws, as well as 10 EKG performed on fellow students.
Upon completion of the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) training program, students will be eligible to take National Certification Exams for CCMA, EKG and Phlebotomy at ACI thru National Healthcareer Association.
Course Requirements
Due within first 2 weeks of class
- 18 years of age
- BP Cuff/Stethoscope (ACI sells for $40)
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Basic Life Support - BLS Heartsaver for Healthcare Providers - offered at ACI for $80.

Tuition
$3000 - Tuition after Deposit: INCLUDES books, Scrub top (students required to wear black scrub pants), supplies, background check, and externship placement*
- $500 - Deposit - (includes $150 non-refundable application fee)
- $272 - Weekly or $544 bi-weekly payment plan - (first payment due one week prior to start of class)
*Externship placement schedule is based on Monday – Friday daytime/weekday hours.
