Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The CNA training program is designed to prepare you to take the State Exam. CNA’s work closely with nurses and medical staff to ensure that a patient is provided basic care.

The CNA training you receive at ACI includes, but not limited to, bathing, feeding, dressing patients, observing physical and/or mental changes, and vitals. There are a total of 22 skills that are taught thru lecture, hands on training, and videos. ACI makes available each skill online for you to review for the state exam as well.

Electrocardiogram (EKG)

State approved Electrocardiogram (EKG) training program is designed to prepare you to take the National Exam.  EKG Technicians provide critical support to medical facilities in a clinical or office environment.

Our EKG program will teach all aspects relating to this growing field.   Areas of study will include but not limited to, introduction to EKG, electrical conduction system, dysrhythmias, stress test, telemetry, holter monitor, artifacts, lead variations. 3 lead, 5 lead, and 12 lead.

Medical Assistant (CCMA)

State approved Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) training program is designed to prepare you to take the National Exam.  Certified Clinical Medical Assistants provide critical support to medical facilities in a clinical or office environment.

Our CCMA program will teach all aspects related to this growing field.  The CCMA will be trained to work a long side the doctor at a physician office or urgent care center. CCMA’s are trained to assist physicians with minor office surgeries, Physical Exams, prescription, injections, X-ray procedures, phlebotomy, front and back office procedures, and EKG.

Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Our Patient Care Technician program is designed to prepare you to take the National Exam. Patient Care Technicians work closely with patients in most cases directly under the supervision of a nurse or physician.

The PCT training you will receive at ACI includes, but not limited to: blood pressure, heart rate, pulse, administer medications, and acquiring blood samples. Internship and lab is completed at the school, and includes a successful number of EKG’s run and interpreted.

Phlebotomy Refresher Course

Our Phlebotomy Technician Refresher program is designed to prepare you to take the National Exam.

Do you need to improve your Phlebotomy skills or prepare for your National Healthcare Exam?  ACI offers a 1-week refresher course that will allow your goals to become a reality. Our course is designed for those who are currently in the field, or previously certified. Future participants must show proof of previous phlebotomy experience at the time of registration. Upon successful completion our course, you can take your National Healthcare exam conveniently at ACI (Exam fee of $115 not included).

Phlebotomy Technician

Our Phlebotomy Technician program is designed to prepare you to take the National Exam. Phlebotomy technicians provide critical support to clinical practitioners, collecting and analyzing blood specimens.

You will learn how to conduct patient interviews, verify medical records, take vital signs, obtain blood samples through venipuncture and micro collection, prepare blood specimens for laboratory analysis, and test and analyze blood samples.

    Hi, how long is the phlebotomy training ? Do this facility offer WIA? I would like to to know the cost. Also how long is the PCT training/cost? Is there an automatic job placement?

      Good morning! The Phlebotomy morning and evening programs are 6 weeks, and weekend 8 weeks. We are not able to guarantee a job, and at this time the program is a self pay. Please call or visit the school, and we can provide additional information to assist you with your career goals. We offer job boards, and our students do have a very high job acquisition rate.
